As a marketing professional we live in a world where we spend large amounts of time to find the edge. The edge on innovation, on competitors, on cost, on creative ideas. The list goes on. I attended the Digital Mastery Summit last week and enjoyed listening to Mike Abel's thoughtful view on AI and the power it gives us. Power for good or power that can destroy. At the same time I have seen firsthand how #sensdigital is democratizing research through its usage of AI and behaviour tech. We all know having loads of data does not necessarily mean you have info you can act on. Often we need to understand the why behind a customer's behaviour. AI and behaviour tech can give you an edge on your data. Later on it struck me that not only is this technology giving you the edge on research, but it actually gives you an edge on customers. No matter where they touch your business. This is brilliant news. Furthermore this edge can be used much wider in your business and in your processes.
