For those new to the trade show / industry conference scene, what’s the one piece of advice you wish someone had given you before your first event?
Get organized before the event. For example, you are likely to get a lot of "leads" and contacts at the event—what will you do with them afterward? Will you put them in your CRM and have you planned a sequence of follow up emails over say the next 6 months because many will not be hot. Doing that will give you a competitive advantage because you can bet your boots the others wont follow up the less than red hot contacts they make.
