Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) engaged Green Energy Markets to provide scenario based projections on solar and stationary battery uptake until 2054. It concluded that roof-top solar and battery system installations are projected to have a cumulative capacity potential of between 66 GW and 98.5 GW by 2054 depending on the scenario. If this level of uptake is achieved it would mark a significant achievement, aligning with global decarbonisation goals and enabling Australia to continue to be a leader in renewable energy. #EnergyEnvironmentEquity https://lnkd.in/gN44ETrA
