This past Saturday, the First Stop team was proud to participate in the annual End Addiction HSV walk at Big Spring Park. It was a day filled with connection, remembrance, and hope. This event is more than just a walk; it’s a vital community gathering where people come together to share resources, remember loved ones lost to addiction, and learn life-saving skills, including how to use NALOXONE. We were moved to see so many in our community, including families and individuals, come together to support each other and fight against addiction. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their stories, and learned with us. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier community. 🌿💚 🛑 Did you know First Stop has a Substance Use Service Coordinator (SUSC) dedicated to supporting unhoused individuals struggling with addiction?
