Today, at our Milan HQ, Energy Dome had the honour of hosting a delegation from the State of Victoria, Australia, led by Treasurer Tim Pallas MP, alongside Léonore Marteville, Gönül Serbest, and Anne-Sophie Boulet, marking a significant step in our commitment to supporting Australia's energy transition, especially with Milano being a sister city of Melbourne and Regione Lombardia having a strategic partnership with the State of Victoria (Victorian Government).   Our discussion focused on the critical role of long-duration energy storage (LDES) in Victoria's energy landscape: the state's ambitious renewable energy targets and the impending closure of coal-fired power plants necessitate reliable and affordable LDES solutions.   We presented our innovative #CO2Battery technology, highlighting its key advantages and why it's the answer to Australia's demands:   ✅ We are a proven technology: we only utilise readily available, off-the-shelf components from tier-one suppliers.   ✅ We keep it local: we allow for significant local component manufacturing in Victoria, hence creating jobs and supporting regional economies.   ✅ We make it fast: Energy Dome's technology can be deployed rapidly, ensuring a quick and safe transition to a cleaner energy future.   ✅ We keep it simple: our CO2 Battery can be seamlessly integrated into existing projects, further enhancing efficiency and sustainability.   ✅ We are stable: Our technology provides long-duration synchronous generation, contributing to a more stable and secure power system.   Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to the Treasurer and the entire delegation for their visit and commitment to a sustainable future, and look forward to continuing our collaboration and working together to power Victoria's energy transition, taking the necessary next steps for a better future.   We cannot wait to see how we can help shape the down-under landscape into the next phase.   #EnergyDome #OurWorldCantWait #sustainability #victoria #australia #longdurationenergystorage #innovation #CO2Battery #decarbonization #LDES #renewables

Cleantech companies such as Energy Dome cannot be left to their own devices.    The European Union has the wonderful power to help them immensely in scaling up and reaching the goal of making Europe the home of Cleantech manufacturing.   Yesterday, this was the key message launched from the stage by our very own Francesco Oppici at the Cleantech for Europe Summit 2024, amongst other hot topics like regulations and policies that should focus on improving permitting processes, technology-agnostic auction access, IP protection (this one was an almost-never-spoken-about biggie) and many others.    By partaking in the 'Making Europe the Home of Cleantech Manufacturing' panel, Francesco was joined by other strong EU voices detailing how businesses and institutions must work together to achieve our shared objectives.    We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the other panelists who were actively involved in such a critical discussion: Kurt Vandenberghe, Timur Gül, Lídia Pereira, and Sonja van Renssen, who moderated the panel wonderfully.And, of course, a big thank you goes to the organizers.   Events like these really highlight the importance of what we're doing and how the #CO2 Battery is the next step going forward.   Once again, we are ready to go, but we also need policymakers to understand the real needs of the sector, advocate for what's truly essential to keep moving, and, most importantly, implement.    Quickly.   #EnergyDome #OurWorldCantWait #sustainability #longdurationenergystorage #innovation #CO2Battery #decarbonization #LDES #renewables
