GoldenPeaks and Boryszew SA Sign 10-Year Solar Power Deal in Poland GoldenPeaks Capital has signed a power purchase agreement (#ppa ) with Boryszew S.A. to supply 24 GWh of #solarpower annually in #poland . The PPA has a 10-year term and the #power will be sourced from newly built #solar plants with a combined #capacity of 21 MWp. The #cleanpower will be sold to Boryszew Green Energy & Gas , a unit of Boryszew SA. Statkraft AS to build 492 MW solar photovoltaic complex in Spain Statkraft AS is all set to build a 492 MW #solar #photovoltaic complex in western #spain .   The Norwegian state-owned power company will develop the project in the region of Extremadura, as per the company announcement.   It comes at a time when Statkraft inaugurated its 55.2 MWp Talayuela II #solarfarm in the region.   The company further plans to invest around EUR 295 million (USD 320.1m) in the gigantic complex. nextE unveils Romania's largest solar farm in landmark deal European independent power producer nextE has announced a power purchase agreement (#ppa ) for a 42.9 MW #solarpark in #romania . The PPA covers the output of what nextE claims is the largest onsite #solar commercial and industrial project in Romania. The company plans to spend approximately €35m ($41m) to develop and build the #photovoltaic farm, which will be equipped with 78,000 #pvpanels and 130 inverters. The project also includes the construction of a new substation and aims to combine #powergeneration with agricultural activities. nextE is currently working on several #renewableenergy projects with a combined capacity of around 160 MWp and aims to have 500 MWp of #installed capacity by the end of 2027. Serbia Advances #1GWSolarProject with New Implementation Agreement The contract was signed earlier this week by Serbia’s Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, along with representatives from the state-owned power utility Joint stock company "Elektroprivreda Srbije" (#EPS) and a consortium comprising Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd. and UGT Renewables. This agreement commits to the construction of #sixsolarplants across #Serbia, with the government approving the proposed sites in September. The largest project in this initiative is a 460 MW facility located in the Negotin and Zaječar regions, followed by a 302 MW plant in Bošnjace. All six plants will connect to a unified transmission network and are projected to generate a combined total of 1,600 GWh of electricity annually. #Spain's Bruc powers up 55 MW of new #solar at home. Spanish renewable energy platform Bruc said that it has grid-connected its Aguasvivas #solarfarm, powering up a 55-MW plant it built in Spain’s region of #Aragon. Located in #Zaragoza province as at site spanning 97 hectares (239.7 acres), Aguasvivas will be capable of generating around 96.4 GWh of electricity annually, or enough to meet electricity consumption needs of 24,500 homes each year.
