Have you ever hired someone only to find out they physically can't handle the job? Talk about a bummer and a headache! But fear not, because I've got just the prescription to save you time, money, and frustration: the Post-Offer, Pre-Placement Exam. So, what exactly is this magical exam? Think of it as a sneak peek into a potential new hire's ability to handle the physical demands of the job. It commonly starts with: a typical medical exam, a review of their medical history with the doctor, and the physical tests. But here's the kicker: not all exams are created equal. After all, you wouldn't hire a chef without checking out their kitchen, right? To learn more watch this video: https://lnkd.in/gdViq3iN

"Passionate Spa Manager at Tattva Wellness | Elevating Guest Experiences | Wellness Enthusiast | Driving Excellence in Spa Operations & Customer Satisfaction"
𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒔 When managing reception operations, I use several key factors that simplify and enhance my workflow. Firstly, I always maintain a warm, welcoming smile, both directly and indirectly, which helps me appear more attractive and confident. Secondly, I practice active listening to understand guests' needs thoroughly, enabling me to provide clear and accurate responses. Another essential factor is preparation. I keep track of available slots, the current status of therapists (who is free or busy), and when they will be available. This preparation allows me to provide crystal-clear answers to guests within seconds. Finally, if I receive an inquiry and cannot offer an immediate slot, I note the guest's number. If a cancellation occurs, I promptly inform them about the available time. These practices consistently enhance my value and commitment in my role. #ReceptionOperations #FrontDeskManagement #ActiveListening #Professionalism

Helping businesses implement technology that supports processes and people | KHIT Consulting | IT Project Management | IT Consulting | EMR/EHR | WBE |
At an event last night, I heard someone describe herself as "just a receptionist". I told her, are you kidding? A receptionist is the first face a client, patient or customer sees. She or He can make work so much more efficient for the rest of the staff. Watch this video for an example of how, set up correctly and completely, a front desk module can make clinical AND billing staff's job much easier, more efficient and with less errors! #EMR #EHR #myEvolv #NotJustAnything

Registered Nurse/Midwife| Pregnancy coach| I empower women with relevant information and guidance during pregnancy.
As the International Nurses' week comes to an end today, here are a few lessons I've learned from my years of practice: 1) Empathy: being able to put yourself in another person's position and treat them accordingly is something I've had to learn on the job. It just makes the job easier to do 2) Attention to details: As a medical professional, a misinformation or missed information can cause very great damage / harm to the patient. So attention to details became a habit to form. So, if you're not happy that I ask a lot of intrinsic questions when we're having a conversation, no vex it's a work etiquette 3) Routine: As boring as this sounds, routine has become a habit I picked up from work. Doing the same things over again to get good results is something I had to inculcate into my life. It might be boring if you're a spontaneous person, but routines can be beautiful. What are some habits you've picked up as a result of work? I'd be waiting in the comment section 😊😊

🔊 Hearing Protection is a key focus for HSE's Inspectors in the financial year 2024-2025, for all industries! They've selected Hearing Protection for an initial review of occupational noise across all industries. The aim? To help duty-holders understand that effective hearing protection requires a solid management system. Here's what HSE will be looking at (but not limited to): ✔ Do the risk assessments consider the need for hearing protection? ✔ Are hearing protection zones correctly signposted? ✔ Is the correct hearing protection being used? ✔ Have the staff been consulted on fit and comfort? ✔ Are workers receiving proper information, instruction, and training? HSE is also promoting the CUFF acronym for hearing protection best practices: C – Condition: Is the hearing protection in good shape? U – Use: Are workers using it when needed? F – Fit: Is the protection fitted or worn properly? F – Fit for Purpose: Has it been correctly specified? For more details, check out our latest news piece, where you can also find the Workplace Noise Guidance document. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eTC2yQQk #HearingProtection #occuptationalsafety #hseinspection #hearingprotection #healthandsafety #neverstopimproving
