Congrats to Ferments du Futur for the official opening of its cutting-edge center at the heart of the vibrant scientific ecosystem of Paris-Saclay. This state-of-the-art facility will contribute to accelerating research and innovation in #fermentation. It marks a significant milestone for this public-private initiative launched two years ago with original members including Lesaffre. We are very proud to be involved from the beginning in the work being carried out by this expert community of now 42 members, including research and educational institutions, professional organizations, and food industry companies. It fosters the synergies needed to drive disruptive innovations. Since 170 years, Lesaffre is convinced of the immense potential of fermentation to tackle the pressing food challenges of tomorrow. It requires a collaborative, open-innovation approach and collective intelligence, which is why the Ferments du Futur consortium was established. It aligns seamlessly with the vision, expertise and commitment of Lesaffre. By combining the state-of-the-art facilities and expertise of the platform with the deep understanding and legacy of fermentation processes, we are confident that groundbreaking innovations will emerge, paving the way for a more sustainable and healthier food landscape.
