As part of our trade mission to the US East Coast, Irish workflow automation company, Tines announce the expansion of their US team by 35%, with over 40 new jobs in Massachusetts. Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Peter Burke and Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy, visited Tines’s Boston office to celebrate their expansion, which will include new US roles in engineering, product development, management, and marketing. Headquartered in Dublin, Tines have recently raised an additional $50 million in an oversubscribed Series B extension round, with the company having raised a total of $145 million since its foundation in 2018. We’ve been working tirelessly over the past couple years to get to this point. 🚨 Important Notice Regarding Employment Practices at SAVIC Inc. 🚨 Dear LinkedIn Network, I hope this message finds you all well. I am writing today to shed light on concerning practices observed during my tenure at SAVIC Inc. It is my duty to bring attention to these issues to ensure transparency and integrity within our professional community. During my time at SAVIC Inc., I witnessed a pattern of misleading promises regarding employment status. Many individuals, including myself, were hired under the pretext of transitioning to full-time employment after six months based on performance. However, despite exceeding expectations and dedicating ourselves to the company's goals, the promised transition never materialized. Even after 12 months of service, numerous employees, myself included, were left in a state of uncertainty regarding our employment status. Furthermore, I must address the unethical practice of misrepresentation. SAVIC Inc. has been sending interns to client sites under the guise of experienced employees, compromising both the integrity of the company and the trust of their clients. Additionally, it has come to my attention that for the past four months, employees have not been receiving their salaries. This unacceptable delay in compensation has caused undue financial strain and anxiety for many hardworking individuals. It is imperative that we, as a professional community, hold ourselves and our organizations to the highest standards of ethics and accountability. I urge current and prospective employees of SAVIC Inc. to carefully consider these practices before engaging with the company. I encourage anyone with similar experiences to come forward and share their stories. By raising awareness and standing together, we can foster a culture of transparency and fairness in the workplace.
