"Those who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it." The funding goes toward two major initiatives: 🚚 1. Clean Corridor Coalition (led by New Jersey): infrastructure to support zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles (this is not passenger cars) along I-95 🌳 🐸 2. Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Atlantic Conservation Coalition (led by North Carolina): natural carbon sequestration through improved forest management, agroforestry, and the protection and restoration of highly threatened, high-carbon coastal habitats and forests

The ZeroPollution4Water Cluster has published the first version of their Case Study Inventory, which is now available for download. This comprehensive inventory provides an overview of 32 case studies from seven ZeroPollution4Water Cluster projects funded under Horizon Europe. These projects focus on preventing groundwater pollution and securing drinking water quality. Government investment in carbon mitigation and reduction solutions and technologies is critical to allow companies to scale. To meet the Paris Agreement goals, investments from all levels of government alongside private investment will be required to help companies develop the technologies required to achieve the goals of reducing carbon emissions and carbon removal. Maryland took a step in that direction by announcing a $130 million in Climate Pollution Reduction Grants, through the EPA. https://lnkd.in/d83AV92N
