Job Title: Resort General Manager (RGM) Position will support team members at this Brand- New RV Resort at Lake Conroe, Texas. This position is for immediate hire. Epic Resource Management strives to exceed the expectations of our guests and clients, while creating a fun and professional environment. Position is a vital part of our company’s management team. A strong candidate will have the right balance of management, financial, sales and communication skills. The candidate will be well rounded, have a sense of urgency and be a self-starter, ensuring a positive atmosphere and extend approachable leadership to all team members and guests. Job Summary: The RGM will be responsible for setting and leading the operational direction for all team members at the RV Resort. The position should deliver strong leadership and talent development at all levels of the organization and deliver an organized and efficient work environment. Essential Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the resort and work collaboratively with other departments. Financial analysis of property performance relative and provide recommendations to increase performance. Review and evaluate market and submarket comps and track against property performance. Implement operating procedures and policies as it relates to personnel, financial reporting and overall operations at the resort to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and hiring of the teams under management, as it relates to the resort staff. Develop strategies and programs which improve the competitive position of the company. Ensure team training and performance is in accordance with Company policies and values. Build a collaborative positive team environment and provide team members with direction and feedback. Mentor team in developing leadership behaviors. Set high quality standards for all team members, coaching and mentoring members of the team to do the same for their staff. Ensures team members comply with the Company’s standard operating procedures. Work directly with executive leadership to shape the overall strategic direction of the Resort on a short and long-term basis. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary. Qualifications and Expectations: 3+ years of property management, preferably at least 2 years in RV Resort and/or Multifamily, or Hospitality sectors. Demonstrates ability to influence, manage, and present ideas in clear written and oral communication. Strong financial experience Ability to do light travel and be flexible in work hours based on Resort and Company needs Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance. Live Locally, however, not required to live onsite, optional.

Shout out to Kasey Cameron, Revenue Manager - HCW Hospitality! 📣 Kasey works behind the scenes for Caesars owners working to set rates based on a ton of factors. She oversees several of their properties. Most of you probably don’t even know what a hotel Revenue Manager does. 🤔 A hotel room is an extremely perishable product. It's equivalent to a dairy product that has an 18 hour life span. Hotel RevMan is transparent to guests for a reason. I’m being presumptuous - but let’s move on 😏. No owner or investor wants money tossed out the window. HCW Hospitality has a great asset in Kasey.🙂 We worked together for several years at Camelback Inn. That’s only a sentence….here’s the story: Not only did we work together, please understand that she had to endure sharing an office with me...For years... My music, weird habits, lunch, moods…all that! Empathy! Yes - Please give Kasey an abundance! That’s a lot to ask of somebody 😏. The good news is that she and I saw things the same way. Do whatever it takes to get the job done, the best way possible and in the best interest for all. 🙂 We also shared an EXTREME amount of work. I needed her for our team’s success. She delivered - and with a smile, no matter how difficult things got for our team. Every day we had to balance the needs of: General Manager’s office Revenue Management Sales Event Management Accounting Front Desk Housekeeping Condo Owners (Hotel investors) …and in our eyes, most importantly: Meeting Planners and guests: (YOU) She was a much needed asset that I was afraid to lose. You see, she always wanted to move into Revenue Management. Timing was off for her, though. By 2016, Marriott International was due for growing pains. News of acquiring Starwood had hit. After almost 17 years in for me, it was evident that, once again, we would be asked/expected to do more - and get less in the end. Waters were also turbulent at JW Marriott Camelback Inn at the time (as the ebb and flow of life happens). I jumped ship when Yelp sailed by, into calmer and more lucrative waters. Kasey endured. Like most in hospitality, she got caught in the foam from the pandemic shutdown. She landed - in the perfect spot. That’s called perseverance is…and the desire to always work for the best of all parties - including one’s self! ⛅ My day begins with a quick briefing alongside my Assistant Manager to review guest-related issues and align on priorities. As part of the reservations team, I act as a bridge between departments, often collaborating directly with heads of departments to resolve significant guest concerns. For example, if a guest experiences a major disruption due to maintenance issues in their suite, I may coordinate directly with both the operations and housekeeping departments to find an immediate solution that satisfies the guest. I always believe that no issue is too big or small while managing customer service 👌 , ensuring all guest experiences and any complaints that need rectifying are handled with care, in addition to reviewing issues that may need executive-level decisions, such as approvals for refunds, investigations into lost items, or escalated cases requiring further action. In the oversight of revenue management, I review daily performance reports 📈 and pickup sheets, checking how we’re performing compared to our competition. We keep a close eye on our various channels, including OTAs, to see where there’s room for optimisation. Aligning on pricing strategies with my revenue team is vital in order to maximise revenue potential and stay ahead of the curve. Collaboration is key, and our daily strategy meetings help keep us responsive and competitive. Throughout the day, I remain hands-on, checking in with Operations to avoid any last-minute roadblocks ⛔ and ensure smooth execution without causing pushback from the teams on the ground. Besides checking in with our offshore Customer Service team is part of my routine in managing escalations. Toward the end of the day, I prepare forecasts and reports for our executive team, providing insights 💡 into the business’s current performance and projecting trends for the near future. This helps our leadership stay informed and make strategic decisions based on data. To wrap up the day, I have a debrief with my team, catching up on completed tasks and anything still pending. 🤹 Juggling multiple responsibilities in this fast-paced hospitality role keeps me constantly learning and engaged, and it's incredibly rewarding to be part of such a dynamic industry.
