Erect Architecture’s Post

We are really delighted that we have received planning permission for ‘Reinventing Borde Hill’ project in West Sussex. The NLHF funded project will create wider access to Borde Hill’s beautiful landscape and rich heritage. The project will improve: - the overall long-term sustainability of the site and preserve its heritage - accessibility for local communities and people who do not have easy access to outdoor green spaces -the opportunities for learning and wellbeing in this landscape, to create meaningful connections with nature At its core, the project embraces low-carbon and regenerative approaches, supported by continuous stakeholder engagement. Key design elements include improved access and connectivity to the South Park site, a year-round Eco Lodge on the lake serving as a community and wellbeing hub, a dedicated space for outdoor play and learning, as well as community growing and educational programme at Sugworth Farm. We are excited to collaborate with Borde Hill, Jay and her dedicated team to bring this vision to life! Borde Hill Arkwood Ltd.
