Cost of living in Canada is beyond manageable. Taxing people to death is going to lead to more of this. The cost of rent in this country is absolutely insane. Imagine what it must be like to not be able to house your family in the dead of a Canadian winter. I understand why they're removing the shelters, but a better place to start would be reducing the cost of "SURVIVAL", not living, in Canada. Literally being "taxed" to death in this country. This week, old man winter returns from his vacation, and he is taking his job seriously, I wish our government would do the same. More people are being forced to live on the streets because of mortgage rates moving beyond their ability to pay, who do you think this benefits? The rich people able to buy those "bank owned" houses and charge outlandish rents on. The problem couldn't be more clear. STOP the cost of survival "hockey stick", unlike the other one, this hockey stick is real.
