🌍 Exciting news! The Commission has just released new recommendations on draft National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) for Belgium, Ireland, and Latvia, guiding them towards aligning their ambitions with EU targets for 2021-2030. These evaluations underscore the importance of countries considering these recommendations as they finalize their plans by June 30, 2024. 🏙In line with these efforts, the BUILDSPACE project is set to revolutionize the sustainable building sector. The BUILDSPACE demonstration pilot in Riga focuses on analyzing energy demand, forecasting, and building resilience to climate change. The pilot aims to create reliable energy demand forecasts considering climate change effects and assess energy performance improvement measures. ✨The success of the BUILDSPACE project in Latvia is intricately linked to the country's updated National Energy and Climate Plans. As emphasized by the Commission, bolstering efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adopting clearer climate adaptation strategies are paramount for achieving our sustainability goals. A brief introduction to Planet Partner 🌍 : We have created a platform that enables companies to measure their carbon footprint for free, providing crucial insights into where their highest energy expenditures lie. This data not only empowers strategic energy reduction, but also fuels informed offsetting decisions. We then provide an option for those emissions to be offset with our carbon capture funds. Unlike costly consultancy fees, our carbon calculator service is completely free, with the aim of making climate action accessible to all. 🌲 Try it for yourself: www.planetpartner.co.uk 🌲
