We have our pictures from Orbit! 🚀 The YPSAT, our Young Professional Satellite made by our ESA Young Professionals, launched aboard the #Ariane6 last night, and we are excited to share the pictures from orbit, alongside the video of the fairing separation of the Ariane 6 🛰️ The #YPSAT mission has finished with taking breathtaking pictures of our blue planet from above, which was only made possible by the unique Wake-Up System created by the young professionals. With teams actively participating in the launch in the Mission Control Room at ESA #ESOC and decoding in the labs of ESA #ESTEC, the pictures are truly out of this world! 🌌✨ Not only did YPSAT record the main milestones of the #Ariane6 maiden flight, thanks to the @OSCAR-QUBE, the mission also succeeded in its scientific goal, capturing the earth's magnetic field throughout the atmosphere. We want to give a huge thank you to our other partners Scanway, EnduroSat, AMSAT-EA, and the many ground stations that supported us through the night 🕺 #ESA #SpaceTeamEurope #Ariane6 #YPSAT

This is just an undescribable moment for me!!!!🚀 We started with a dream, and made it a reality. What a way to start a career in space. So proud to have been part of this incredible team❤️ Big shout out to the YPSAT team and ESA to give us this incredible opportunity. This is a dream for any young space enthusiast. Proud to have supported #YPSAT with the Bochum 20m radio telescope 😊

This is the most beautifull thing I have ever witnessed. Beeing part of the team from the very start, and then just 2 and half years later watching this launch live, celebrating each milestone for the last 24 hours, with great friends I made during my short time in the project was a feeling out of this world. Huge congratulations to every single team member, partner, and facilitator, you made this happen ❤️

So proud to be part of team behind this amazing achievement! Go #YPSAT!

At the beginning we were just a bunch of space nerd who wanted to fly something in Space. After a lot of brainstorming, meeting, testing, failure and learning we finally succeded yesterdeay when YPSAT transmitted all the acquired recording. All missions objectives are successful! ✅ Thank you to the whole team of YPSAT, of the European Space Agency - ESA to have believed in pour project and to Julien Krompholtz and Tuur Strobbe for having lead the project to lift-off on the inaugural flight of #Ariane6 🚀
