Pro Athlete turned Cloud Technical Advisor @ AWS • Advocate & Educator • Solving Complex Problems With the Cloud • 9X Cloud Certified • Prev. AWS Community Builder • DevOps 🏗️ • Serverless⚡️
A Cloud Solutions Architecture/Cloud Architect role is NOT entry level. If you’re just transitioning to the Cloud, I would advise you not to pursue those roles. You’re better off using your time and energy targeting actual entry level type roles like: - Cloud Support - Cloud Operations - Cloud Administrator - Cloud Associate - Cloud Analyst - Cloud Developer and other Junior roles (focus on job descriptions not titles) You can always aspire to eventually work as an Architect later in your career.. like I hope to do someday. But trust me.. just because you passed the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification does not make you ready to be a Cloud Architect 😭 I know, I fell victim to this myself, just trying to save you from the pain and headache 😂 #cloud #cloudengineer #cloudcomputing
