Do you have a large area of construction, but too small of a budget to get GPR scanning across the whole thing? That's common; we hear that a lot. Consider doing a boundary scan. That technique can cover a MUCH smaller area, so it's much more affordable, but it gives you a warning if there are any buried utilities where they come in from outside the property. There are an awful lot of polymer pipes out there that are untraceable by EM locators, and do not have surface features to let you know they are there. A survey like this does a great job of catching those surprises before your excavator does. We found quite a few of those in this project. I'm always amazed at how many rogue pipes there are out there! IDS GeoRadar, Geolitix, Daniel Bigman, Bigman Geophysical, LLC, Cody Lilly, Orlando Heaven, Andre Middleton Jr

Good advice from Dr. Sean McConnel about benefits of using boundary scans, or perimeter surveys, on large areas to identify utilities that might cross the site. This method was included in the #PAS128 specification in its last revision as a posdible alternative to grid surveys in large open areas, so you can use this approach for your #GPR #Surveys, especially on large rural sites, and still be #PAS128 compliant #GPR #utilitymapping #survey #efficient

In the area of technical data, these quality deficits mainly concern the focus on damage and condition classes and in the area of commercial data the focus on book and remaining book values. The webinar presents a new approach to asset management with which a differentiated economic derivation of efficient, demand-specific rehabilitation and investment strategies can be achieved.
