95% of the short videos you make for your estate agency will not bring you the results you are looking for. Let me explain. The majority of estate agents who are spending time on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube are creating videos trying to follow trends. The problem is that these videos are designed to get as many impressions as possible - in other words for as many people to see the video itself. If your goal was to entertain or become famous across the internet in some way, then these videos would be helpful for you. But I assume you’re creating videos because you want to bring locals to list their property for sale with your estate agency. I told my clients to focus on two types of short videos only. 60-90 second videos to show sellers what problems your estate agency solves - what gap you fill in the market. (This is more important than most agency owners think) And 60 second videos offering a FREEBIE like a Seller’s Guide or calculator in exchange for a conversation. Essentially, generating leads from every video. Thanks to this, an established estate agent has brought in over £100k to her pipeline and is close to closing on £40k with these types of videos alone, over 3 months. Where will likes and followers take your agency in 3 months?
