Rise of EVs has brought in huge advancements towards bringing mature Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) to the market. One prime example of this shift from Domain-Based Architecture to Zone-Based Architecture would be the Rivian's new Gen 2 Platform. "The ECU that runs the vehicle’s autonomy platform is the most powerful computer in the R1S and R1T.
