Colombia’s Civil Aviation Authority just reported on the number of passengers that traveled by air during the first half of 2024. Approximately 26,860,000 passengers traveled between the months of January and June 2024. That’s an increase of 16.8% in relation to the same period of 2023. International passengers increased by 11.7% and domestic by 20.2%. It is great to see more Colombians using air transportation to travel for business, tourism or to see family and friends. It also highlights more international travelers visiting Colombia, which is quickly becoming a popular destination. Ultimately, the country of Colombia will benefit economically and socially. Colombian and Int’l airlines are working hard to bring more connectivity to the country with more flights and destinations. Air Century and Euroairlines are now fully integrated 😁 🌎 ✈ 🙌 The interline integration between Air Century and Euroairlines will allow passengers to enjoy broader and more convenient connectivity, providing unprecedented access to an extensive network of domestic and international destinations. This reinforces their commitment to offering customers a comprehensive, efficient, and world-class travel experience. Air Century has initiated operations on six new air routes connecting the Dominican Republic with Havana, Sint Maarten, Aruba, Cartagena, Curacao, and Puerto Rico.
