Orsa Grönklitt invests SEK 50 million This coming Spring, Orsa Grönklitt will begin the single largest investment in alpine skiing in the company's history. - The decision to realize this creates incredible joy and optimism for everyone in Grönklitt, says Johan Sares, CEO Orsa Grönklitt. SEK 50 million. This is how much Orsa Grönklitt will invest in the area where the former Orsa Rovdjurspark was located in Orsa Kommun. It is the single largest investment in alpine skiing in the company's history. The idea is that the area will have new slopes, a new Funpark, additional so-called "Funslopes", and play areas for smaller children. A new ski lift on the south side may also be built. - We see an extremely large potential in Orsa Grönklitt, but we need to improve the alpine product. Now that we have access to the land of the former Orsa Rovdjurspark, this investment feels right in our ambition to continue developing Grönklitt. There remains a lot of planning and work, but it is inspiring for everyone that the decision is made, says Göran Bronner, owner and group CEO Orsa Grönklitt, in a press release. This weekend marks the grand spectacle of the 13th Annual Belgian Waffle Ride CA, and it's not just any ride—it's our 29th glorious installment of Belgian Bliss (waffles, long bike race, more waffles and Belgian ale). We've been at this game longer than most, crafting gravel experiences that defy the usual with our tangled twist of pedaling perversity. Sure, gravel riding is our canvas, but our palette extends far beyond the beaten path. We're not content with the usual we thrive on the unusual. After all, we’ve always had a healthy disrespect for the usual way of riding a bike. That's why we don't just race, for many its an Unroad adventure. I mean, imagine: from smooth asphalt to rugged single-track, from challenging water crossings to gritty truck trails, from unforgiving sand pits to bone-rattling gravel roads. And that's just the warm-up. But yeah, that’s not all! We'll throw in some rock gardens for good measure, sprinkle in some mind-bendingly steep bergs, and top it off with trails so technical, they'll leave even the world's finest (who come from every corner of the globe), scratching their heads wondering which line to take. Crafting this vignette wasn't a solo effort. It took the expertise of Kris Hull and the youthful zeal of his son to breathe life into my silly words.
