⭐ The Dacia Duster dashes off with a three-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the latest safety protocols on the Romanian-made Dacia Duster. 🚨 The passenger compartment of the Duster remained stable in the frontal offset test. Dacia demonstrated that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. The driver’s chest protection was rated as weak, based on dummy readings of compression during the test. The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the Dacia can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles. ⭐ The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is high-class with its five-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the latest safety protocols on the German Mercedes-Benz E-Class.🚨 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the Mercedes-Benz can respond to vulnerable road users as well as to other vehicles and the system’s response to pedestrians was good. Likewise, the system performed well in tests of its response to cyclists, scoring almost full points, including for ‘dooring,' where a door is suddenly opened in the path of a cyclist approaching from behind. Let’s explore each Meccanica42’s products installed on the racecars, starting from CBA. ◼Our Corner Brake Actuator opens access to any brake-based function and calibration, ensuring a precise, independent and rapid management of the single brake line pressure. ◼In this case, it was used to implement autonomous braking functions of the vehicle, commanded by the vehicle’s control logic. ◼With a focus on safety, the implementation of a fall-back strategy allows to confidently face emergency situations. ⭐ The BMW X2 earns a 2022 five-star rating ⭐ Euro NCAP recently performed the 2022 safety protocols on the BMW X2. It is a partner model to the BMW X1. Euro NCAP compared both vehicles to verify that the X1 results can be applied to the X2 and performed additional tests, where necessary. 🚨 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system of the X2 can respond to vulnerable road users, as well as to other vehicles. The system performed well in tests of its response to pedestrians and cyclists, with collisions avoided in most scenarios. The X2 has a counter-measure to mitigate against occupant to occupant injuries in such impacts. 🏆 The Ford Transit Custom goes all out with a Platinum Award 🏆 Euro NCAP awards the Transit Custom a Safety Assist Performance of 96%. Ford’s mid-size van, which was first introduced in 2012, is tested here in second-generation form, available since 2023. It is equipped with a broad range of high-performing safety equipment, much of it standard equipment, which it shares with its passenger-carrying stablemate, the Tourneo Custom. And it excels, scoring full or nearly full points in all of Euro NCAP’s tests, and emerges with a thoroughly well-deserved Platinum grading. 🚙 The autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system uses radar-camera fusion technology to detect other vehicles and vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians and cyclists. With a pedestrian in its sight, the system performs well in all scenarios, including those done in night-time conditions.
