📣 Marion Cottet represented ALICE at the successful kick-off meeting of the GreenTurn Project on 10-11 September in Poznań, Poland. Special thanks to the Łukasiewicz – Poznański Instytut Technologiczny for hosting this event and giving us a fantastic start to this ambitious initiative! GreenTurn, funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No 101147942), brings together a wide range of 𝗲-𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗼-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Using design thinking approaches, the project integrates 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to minimise e-commerce emissions and reduce traffic congestion. ALICE will support the exploitation and valorisation of the project results, through policy recommendations, external stakeholder engagement, communication and dissemination activities. 🌍 Strengthening Governmental Partnerships 🌍   We had the distinct honor of dining with H.E. Mr. Arnoldo Brenes Castro, the Ambassador of Costa Rica, alongside advisory board member Hugo Berkhout, to explore exciting new opportunities for collaboration. Our discussions covered the progress made since our initial meetings with President Rodrigo Chaves and Minister of Foreign Trade Manuel Tovar, leading to key business engagements in Costa Rica.   Some key highlights from our conversation:                1.        Partnership Progress: We reviewed the progress of our relationship with Costa Rica, including our recent business trip, where we engaged with potential partners.              2.        Demo Plant in Costa Rica: We believe Costa Rica offers an ideal location for a plant, serving as a strategic hub for scaling The Natural Bottle across the Americas.   We are excited to continue building this strong relationship with Costa Rica and look forward to achieving shared success. 💧 Together, we are spearheading a shift in the industry, towards a sustainable, thriving planet for future generations!   #Sustainability #CostaRica #Partnerships #CircularEconomy #Innovation #Growth #TheNaturalBottle

🚀 Exciting news! This week marks a significant milestone in our collaboration with the Federal Environmental Ministry (Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz, nukleare Sicherheit und Verbraucherschutz (BMUV)). Since IFAT worldwide Munich 2024, there has been no time to rest. At #IFAT, we met with a delegation from the Waste Management Association of Malaysia (WMAM) to discuss how we can #together support #Malaysia in developing a national #CircularEconomy #strategy. ♻ 💡 👉 After defining the framework and targets, we've worked ambitious over the past few weeks to organize a cooperative event. On July 16th and 17th, we will host a workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event will bring together key stakeholders from both the economic and political sectors. Our goal is to align the approaches and work collectively towards a national circular economy strategy. #RETech and its network will facilitate discussions by bringing in German experts from across the waste value chain. Our delegation, including Dr. Armin Vogel (SSI SCHÄFER), Michael Ludden (Sutco®), Jana Brinkmann (cyclos), Sascha Holler (GreenCycle/PreZero Deutschland), Henning Ehrenberg (Naue Group) and Simon Götz (WEHRLE), will share their extensive experience in Malaysia and Germany. The BMUV will also be supporting us online. We look forward to 2️⃣ intensive but fruitful days with around 50 experts engaging in meaningful discussions. We are proud to intoduce our eRural resilience - Interreg BSR project partner from Denmark - ProVarde Erhvervsudvikling.  ✅At ProVarde, we are committed to strengthening and supporting local businesses in Varde Municipality.  ✅As part of ongoing efforts to engage in international cooperation, we recently visited the Danish EU Office in Brussels to explore opportunities within EU projects. This visit underscored how EU countries can benefit from each other’s experiences and expertise, particularly when it comes to rural development and fostering innovation across regions. Through such 🌐collaborations, we gain valuable insights into how shared knowledge and cross-border cooperation can enhance local business environments. This aligns perfectly with our work in the #eruralresilience Project, where we collaborate with Tønder Erhvervsråd /Tønder Business Council and other partners to promote the growth of e-bio-businesses. 📯 We are working closely with Tønder Business Council, and their business consultant and leader of the Vores Marsk initiative, Jesper Monsrud, states: “The partnership in the eRural project allows us to bring in additional resources and knowledge. We are collaborating with ProVarde and several business offices and knowledge institutions in the Baltic Sea region to enhance our support for e-bio-businesses, including food companies.” Nikolaj Chelander Knudsen, business consultant at ProVarde, adds: “Our collaboration with Tønder Business Council, along with our participation in EU projects, provides us with a unique opportunity to share knowledge and create value for local businesses.
