ETSA - European Textile Services Association’s Post

🌟 Celebrating ETSA Research and Innovation Days in Cologne! 🌟 Last week, representatives from ETSA companies and national associations gathered in Cologne, Germany for a milestone event in our industry – the ETSA Research and Innovation Days. It was a remarkable gathering that brought together experts, companies, and national associations to discuss the future of our sector. A huge thank you to ETSA Chairman, Thomas Neyers and Alsco Berufskleidungs-Service GmbH for hosting this landmark meeting. Here are some key highlights from the event: ✅ Digital and #GreenTransition: The importance for companies and national associations to collaboratively manage the #digital and #green transition was a central theme. This approach is not just a necessity but an opportunity to innovate and lead in our industry. ✅ #Innovation Working Group Launch: This event marked the first working group under ETSA dedicated specifically to innovation, joining our other groups that focus on various aspects of our industry. The discussions were incredibly fruitful, and we look forward to expanding our network in the next round of discussions. ✅ New Horizon Partnership: We were thrilled to witness the presentation of the new Horizon partnership by Textile ETP and Lutz Walter. This initiative promises to provide pragmatic ways for the industry to pilot projects and strengthen partnerships. It's a game-changer for how we approach innovation and collaboration. ✅ Acknowledging Key Associations: Special thanks to FBT : Belgian Textile Care Federation, Deutscher Textilreinigungs-Verband e.V., CIBUTEX, Textile Services Association, and Arthur Linssen for sharing their research and innovation agendas.
