Applications are now open for the first ‘Staff development for learning and teaching at European universities’ masterclass! 🎓 This masterclass offers universities practical tools to strengthen their staff development and teaching enhancement initiatives or to revisit their practices from a strategic perspective. 💡 #staffdev_eu

Interesting call for everyone who likes to join an international Thematic Peer Group on Learning & Teaching 👇 Thematic Peer Groups provide participating universities with an opportunity for peer learning and exchange of experiences. This call proposes three groups, which will be organised under the Erasmus+ funded STAFF-DEV project: - Enhancing engagement of academics that teach and expanding staff development opportunities - Staff development and transnational collaboration - Ensuring the quality and impact of staff development in teaching The three TPGs will be dedicated to the following sub-topics: 1) Enhancing teacher engagement and expanding staff development opportunities 2) Staff development and transnational collaboration 3) Ensuring the quality and impact of staff development in teaching The main objectives of the EUA Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups are: - to discuss and explore practices and lessons learnt in organising and implementing learning and teaching in European universities; - to contribute to the enhancement of learning and teaching by identifying key considerations on the selected theme. The deadline for applications is 17 January 2025.

Want to know more about the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (#EHESO), the initiative aiming to integrate existing #EU data on the #HE sector? The Observatory will make it possible to compare, analyse and showcase the higher education sector’s performance across various fields. Institutions and governments will be able to strengthen their evidence basis on key topics such as inclusion, learning outcomes, progress on digital, green and entrepreneurial skills, technology transfer, employability, students and labour market needs. This process will also reinforce the institutions’ role in innovation ecosystems, and transnational cooperation in the higher education sector.
