RePowerEU - The new chapter of #PNRR 🌍💡   I'm delighted to share with you the news that the first funds, amounting to €288 million, have been attracted into the country's budget through #PNRR - RePowerEU, an initiative I negotiated with the @MIPE team.   This is just the first step towards implementing an important component of Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan, supporting energy saving, clean energy production and diversification of energy supply.   🏡 Energy-poor households will benefit from vouchers of up to €5 000 for photovoltaic panels and energy storage solutions or €14 000 for thermic rehabilitation.   The first two calls, worth €400 million and €300 million, concern Investment 4 - Renewable Energy Vouchers and Investment 7 - Energy Efficiency Vouchers.   🤝 Support for applicants: the vulnerable population will benefit from free assistance for the preparation of documentation through the National Network One-Stop Shops for energy efficiency and the costs of the necessary energy audit and energy performance certificate will be covered by an additional voucher of €1 200.   Providers of photovoltaic panel installation/retrofitting services will apply for funding on behalf of the beneficiary on the dedicated MIPE platform https://lnkd.in/d5TMJjiy.   🌱 #RePowerEU #SustainableEnergy #PNRR

#PVconstruction is on the rise in Europe, and France and their local solar projects are a case in point.  The French solar market is gigawatt-sized and has great growth potential for the coming years. In 2023 alone, France has seen 25% growth, and PV projects with over 3 GW of installed capacity have been built. The outlook is even more optimistic, with plans to build another 50–60 GW by 2030, giving a lot of scope for developers like Greenbuddies.eu.  We have several years of experience in installing photovoltaic parks in France. We have already successfully implemented several projects with French company SFECO.  Of note is the Ploquin project, with a total installed capacity of 5 MWp, which we completed in autumn 2023 and is quite interesting because it is built on part of a formerly mined limestone quarry. Above the quarry, there is beautiful nature and a rich forest. In its original form, the quarry was covered with greenery. Now our team filled the quarry with PV plant and the shape of the PV panel structure is one of the most interesting PV structures we have ever installed. Having just attended the press conference for The Preliminary Market Consultation for Floating Solar Technology (the "PMC"), organised by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Regeneration of the Grand Harbour (Dr. Miriam Dalli) and Regulator for Energy and Water Services, it is clear that Malta continues to push boundaries in terms of alternative energies. The PMC aims to solicit proposals from operators for the deployment of floating solar technology projects, including photovoltaic farms, within the zone extending up to 12 NW off the coast of the Maltese islands. 📢 The PMC is proposing (amongst other matters): 1. an initial site, 4NM outside Malta's coast for the purposes of floating farms (subject to confirmation and technical/environmental studies); 2. that the floating farms on the site identified be connected to the national grid directly to Delimara and in fact have confirmed that several entities were consulted on this and have indeed confirmed the possibility; and 3. that the proposed site should not lead to significant visual impacts. 🌊 🌞 🌞 🌊 🌞 This initiative invites national as well as international operators/players to provide their insights into the potential and viability of such a project, which would assist the Govt. in assessing the current market and support the technical studies being undertaken for a potential call for offers. This all said, it would be far more exciting for the Govt. to take on this project on its own accord, investing the time and expertise so that it would serve as an example as well as stepping stone for local operators to plug in and increase its output, without the significant financial burden. At Our New Energy (ONE) we are excited to see that The Danish Energy Authority has released the first draft of tender material for upcoming tenders, which will facilitate the development of 6 GW of offshore wind in Danish waters. These tenders are a crucial part of Denmark's green transition and the possibility of production of ptx fuels. The final version of the tender is expected to be published in the spring of 2024. Here are the specifics for each tender: - 3 GW in the North Sea I (Bid submission deadline: December 2024) - 1 GW at Kattegat (Bid submission deadline: February 2025) - 1 GW by Kriegers Flak II (Bid submission deadline: February 2025) - 0.8-1.2 GW at Hesselø (Bid submission deadline: February 2025) Picture from Energistyrelsen. New report provides pathways to floating wind port investment "This report outlines some of the key challenges linked to securing major infrastructure investments, as well as providing potential pathways and models which could be used to facilitate the significant private sector investment required to support floating wind deployment to 2030 and beyond. This includes: 💡 Identifying existing barriers to investment for UK port infrastructure and manufacturing facilities relevant to floating wind in the UK; 💡 Understanding the key factors affecting the competitiveness of UK ports and co-location manufactured facilities, in the international context; 💡 The options to develop and implement ways to reduce the risk associated with large scale port investment in the UK." https://lnkd.in/ezckiWNs

Following the detailed implementation plan for National Power Development Plan VIII ("PDP8") issued by the Prime Minister on 1 April 2024, today, on 3 April 2024, the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade ("MOIT") chaired a conference with key stakeholders such as Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority ("EREA), Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Authority , Insitute of Energy, EVN, PVN to discuss the implementation of the PDP8. The conference aimed to deploy the tasks and solutions outlined in the implementation plan. Highlights of the conference are:  👉 Diversifying energy sources and ensuring national energy security.  👉 Approval of renewable energy projects must be based on national planning. 👉 The list of renewable energy projects announced in the implementation plan has been compiled from 46/63 provinces and cities only. The remaining 17 provinces and cities missed the deadline set by the Deputy PM. Therefore, they will have to wait for the updated list later on. (According to a report by Mr. Tô Xuân Bảo, Director of the EREA). 👉 Minister of MOIT, Mr. Nguyen Hong Dien, directly reminded 17 provinces and cities that were late in submitting proposals for the list of renewable energy projects. The second deadline is 10th 2024. After that, the MOIT may consider allocating quotas to other provinces and cities. The remaining 17 provinces and cities include Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen, Dong Thap, Hoa Binh, Son La, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Binh Duong, and Long An. It's fantastic to witness Queensland, once the most coal-dependent state in Australia, delivering the nation's largest green energy investment in its 2024-25 Budget. This marks a historic milestone, with a record $26 billion earmarked for green projects over the next four years, including $8.6 billion allocated for the upcoming financial year. Earlier this week, Deloitte's Access Economics modelling highlighted the significance of advancing the energy transition. It identified that without progress by 2050, Queensland would forego the opportunity of creating 145,000 additional jobs and $430 billion in economic growth. These jobs are predominantly in emerging industries such as critical minerals, advanced manufacturing, hydrogen, and sustainable aviation fuels. It's undeniable that embracing green energy offers abundant opportunities, not just for economic viability but also for sustainable environmental stewardship and long-term energy security.

We’re pleased to see the Queensland Government’s 2024-25 Budget deliver the nation’s largest green energy investment with a record $26 billion outlay over the next four years, with $8.6 billion ready for the next financial year. The allocations include $16.5 billion dedicated to renewable energy and storage projects, alongside $8.5 billion earmarked for constructing the SuperGrid. This represents a $7 billion increase in investment compared to the 2023 budget, reinforcing Queensland’s commitment to its ambitious goals of a 75% reduction in emissions and 80% renewable energy generation by 2035, both of which are mandated by law. The state has traditionally been one of the most coal-dependent states in Australia; however, in recent years, it’s clear that it has been taking its green transition very seriously, with record investment and green projects up for bid. We look forward to continuing our operations in the state, particularly with this renewed investment, which we expect to accelerate the state’s transition to new heights. Moving forward, it will be crucial to have enough tenders and investments to ensure EPCs in green energy are adequately supported in an increasingly competitive market. We are happy to announce that we have obtained a valid Building permit for the 10 MW „Alebića kula“ solar power plant in the Municipality of Hrvace (Split-Dalmatia County).   Enerkon d.o.o. actively participated in the project's development from the beginning (in 2020), when there was only investors' desire, will, and enthusiasm for such a project development.   From then until today, Enerkon has provided the investor with expert technical support in all aspects of project development: ➡ Consulting, ➡ Basic design, ➡ Main design, ➡ Equipment selection, ➡ Obtaining all necessary documents and permits.   The path to obtaining the permit was not easy, primarily due to the complicated legislative framework in the field of renewable energy projects. The challenging year of 2021 for the electric power industry in Croatia was an additional challenge (adoption of the new Law on the Electricity Market, new Conditions for grid connection, and absence of by-laws).   We continue to support the investor in the upcoming steps of the project through supervision of construction and consulting activities.
