🌿✨ This week the Greenvehicles LEVIS team convened for the M39 Consortium Meeting. With the project wrapping up in July, we're thrilled to share some exciting updates on our progress!
💡 LEVIS has been at the forefront of driving innovation towards more sustainable automotive solutions. Our recent efforts have successfully demonstrated that LEVIS’ technologies not only boost vehicle efficiency but also significantly reduce environmental impacts without compromising on mechanical integrity and reliability.
🔍 During the meeting, we delved into key areas such as manufacturing processes, demo validation, modelling and structural health monitoring activities, and end-of-life approaches. We also scrutinized the environmental and techno-economical impacts of our technologies, ensuring that every aspect of sustainability is addressed.
📊 The results are in, and they are impressive:
▪ Remarkable 20-40% weight reduction in vehicle components.
▪ Significant cost reductions for production.
▪ Enhanced recycling rates of up to 80% for multi-material components.
▪ Global warming potential reduction by at least 5% at the vehicle level.
▪ Scalable solutions, applicable to over 60% of vehicle chassis and body components.
🚀 As we approach the final phases, our focus is on finalizing the last tests of the demonstrators and wrapping up part manufacturing and assembly processes.
