🛑 Did you know that approximately 3.3 million children are currently enslaved or exploited worldwide, also known as ‘forced labor’? Many of these children have been forced to become child soldiers in local and national conflicts. EVERY child deserves to be free. How can we work together to address this global problem? 3.3 million can be a daunting number, but it helps to remember that every bit of support, awareness, and action can radically change a life forever. EverFree works to bring freedom for all...and this includes children trapped in the violence of conflict. EverFree's Safe Homes provide refuge for children who have been forced to become child soldiers and subjected to horrors no child should ever endure. 🌍 Check us out here to join our movement ---> https://lnkd.in/eZff8VV9

Our children deserve better, and it's time for us to rewrite the narrative because no one is coming to save us. What can we do to empower our children and help them stop seeing themselves as inferior and victims? Share your thoughts in the comments below! 🤔👇🏾 #AfroParentingVillage

🌍🤝 Join us in supporting the YAML Foundation and Trust's mission to empower survivors of human trafficking. Together, we can make a difference. 💙 "It's not enough to talk about it; we must do something about it," Orly Amor, YAML founder, and abuse survivor, stated. "While debates on the value of rehabilitation programs persist, these are still largely seen as essential for the protection of human rights survivors and facilitation of their recovery after trafficking." Every child deserves a safe and happy childhood. Each year, one billion boys and girls are victims of violence, robbing them of their innocence and leaving lifelong scars. Violence erodes every investment that families, communities and governments make in children, from their education to their mental and physical health. Damaging the childhoods of today and societies of tomorrow. But solutions exist, and we are the first generation with the power, and knowledge, to ensure every child is protected. This November, the first-ever Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children takes place. A responsibility and opportunity to deliver change. On behalf of the one billion children affected by violence, we urgently call on world leaders to participate and pledge actions to keep every child safe. Childhood is in our hands. The power to act is now in yours. Read more about the campaign and check out how you can make a difference here: https://lnkd.in/d-39n2cS
