🌿 Plastic Free July at Evergreen Labs: Mission Possible! 🌿 Throughout the Plastic Free July challenge at Evergreen Labs, we've proven that changing our behavior and raising awareness about reducing single-use plastic is far from a “Mission Impossible.” Behavior Changes: 🛒 By closely monitoring our purchases, we’ve stopped using plastic. We've started ordering and delivering food without plastic packaging, bringing our own sustainable bags and containers to vendors. ♻️ We’ve also segregate our waste at the source, making recycling easier and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. Increasing Awareness: 🌍 We identified and eliminated all single-use plastics in our workplace, replacing them with sustainable alternatives for everyday use. 🔄 We see plastic waste as a valuable recyclable material rather than trash. Refusing and reducing single-use plastics is not hard—it's entirely possible. It's our choice to make an impact and protect the environment. Let's continue making sustainable choices and save our planet! 💚♻️ #EvergreenLabs #EGL #CircularEconomy #EvergreenLabsVietnam #Sustainability #SustainableFuture #BuildingCommunity #SustainablePartnership

With our Circularity Roadmap for plastic packaging, we want to contribute to a #ZeroWaste society and reduce our use of fossil-based plastic. Our global goals and milestones are: ▶️ Overcome the peak of plastic use by 2030 and recycle 50% of plastic used by weight. ▶️ Plastic Packaging Net Zero Waste by 2040, where the amount of plastic used in our packaging and the amount of recycled material used or collected by us is equal. ▶️ Plastic Packaging Negative Waste by 2050, where the quantity of plastic recycled is greater than the plastic packaging produced. To support these goals, we are working to make packaging thinner, increase package capacity, promote reuse by offering refill and replacement products, and promote recycling to recirculate used plastic packaging. For Zero Waste Week and beyond, join our mission to contribute to the realization of a zero-waste society! #ZeroWasteWeek #PlasticReduction #Sustainability #MakingLifeBeautiful

When plastic first emerged in the 1900s, it was a game-changer! Its versatility made affordable mass production of many products possible. It propelled humanity into a new era of progress. From lifesaving medical innovations to the tech gadgets, plastic plays a crucial role. However, our love affair with plastic took a dive as we began to OVERUSE it in consumer goods. Today, we produce a staggering 400 million tons of plastic annually. Shockingly, half of this plastic is used just once before being discarded, creating a waste crisis. As a result, a disturbing amount of plastic pollutes our precious oceans. If we don't act, experts predict we’ll end up having more plastic than fish in our oceans by 2050. But we hold the power to change this narrative. Here is how everyone can help. 🔶 Cut down on single-use plastics and embrace reusable bags, bottles, and containers to reduce your plastic footprint. 🔶 Back businesses championing sustainable packaging and recycling initiatives. 🔶 Take part in community clean-ups to rid our waterways and beaches of plastic waste. We can make a difference! #sustaibability #personalsustainability 🎥: exploradoresciclos2018 (Imagur)

Thoughtful post by Tahmina Day, MBA, CERP. While our forefather have invented plastics in the past to create much conveniences that we take for granted today. It will be our generation to understand that plastics is creating a myraid of problem that will be a major health risk for ourselves and all animals on earth. Nanoplastics are already found in our blood streams. Even though there are still research being done to understand long term effects on our health (e.g. blood clots and other issues), it is nevertheless already present in our bodies and I am sure in all living beings (air, sea and land). It is therefore our moral responsiblity to work together to create better alternatives to plastics. It can be done if we focus on working together, drop our egos and understand that there is nothing more important that life on this planet. Our environmental problem is bigger than any arguements that lead to proxy war and disagreements. We only have one planet, we can choose to make a different - each and every one of us. #plasticproblem #globalproblem #personalresponsiblity #weareone #oceanhealth #micorplastics #nanoplastics

Did you know that around 380 million tons of plastic are produced worldwide every year? Unfortunately, a large proportion of this ends up as single-use plastic, which pollutes our environment. 🌍♻️ At CMC, we are aware of the impact such figures have and are actively campaigning for change. Our initiative to reduce single-use plastic starts with developing sustainable products and packaging solutions. By offering alternatives that are more durable and environmentally friendly, we are helping to reduce plastic waste and protect our environment for future generations. To do this, we already use bags for our cotton pads containing up to 80% recycled material. Let's take the first step together and make more conscious choices. Because every contribution counts towards stemming the tide of plastic waste. Discover our sustainable solutions and be part of the change. 🌱 #consumermedicalcare #sustainability #reduceplastic #careful

♻️ It’s Plastic Free July! ♻️ We need to take action on plastic. Reducing our plastic impact is a key part of Ecotone's sustainability journey and the reason why we're part of WRAP UK. We are currently on target to make all our packaging fully recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2025. We take this seriously across our brands, investing in sustainable packaging and nurturing partners who share our values. Just one example is Clipper Teas - the first tea brand in the world to bring unbleached, plant-based, non-GM, and fully biodegradable teabags to market. Here are a few tips to embrace less plastic as a consumer: 🗑️ Choose reusable bags and containers: Try to use reusable options where possible, whether it’s your trusty tote bag, water bottle, or tea caddy! 🚮 Recycle responsibly: Properly sort and clean your recyclables to ensure they are processed correctly 🙌🏻 Educate and inspire others! Share your journey and tips with friends, family, and colleagues to spread the word #Sustainability #PlasticFreeJuly #EthicalProducts
