Murmuration! Simply awestruck. There is a reason I chose this video amongst many. Trusted teams will resonate with this… I am sure many would have seen the beautiful sight of starlings, flocking and flying in perfect formation, which is something leaving some indelible print in our mindscape. Even if you are in a mad, mad rush, you don't forget it! Such is the IMPACT. When you see the video below, the most interesting fact about murmuration is that starlings are the only species of birds who do it. And no matter the size of the flock, the starlings are in perfect sync. Change. Adjust. Habit. Fast forward – Infinite teams, who believe in themselves and have a purpose (“the why”) will proactively react to emerging threats and risks as a single entity. The team members will move in beautiful patterns, often confusing the attackers (internal or external), or whatever the threat may be. The result is that the whole team is much safer in a beautiful “haven”, as they form some unbelievable formations, with each team-mate in sync. The perfect synchronisation is achieved by each starling (team member) adjusting to each other’s pace and accommodating to move and form a great impression on the canvas of the sky.
