Know your audience. Yet again, Raith Rovers Football Club Ltd showing the value of understanding how to communicate with your audience. These numbers from November to December 2023 are a sign of how a club can interact and engage with their supporters and a wider audience. This hasn’t happened by accident. By understanding what the audience wants to see, trying new things and listening to the feedback, we’ve been able to grow interaction and engagement across all social media platforms. But how does this have an impact past the computer, iPad and phone screens of the supporters and into the football club? 1️⃣ The RRFC support has never been this engaged with their club and that shows through the interaction, ticket and retail sales. 2️⃣ The support home and away from the fans has been incredible. Spreading positive and feel good messages creates that atmosphere. ‘Bums on seats’ is the oldest requirement in football and with recent record breaking season ticket sales and a huge increase in home and away travelling support, we can see it’s having an impact. 3️⃣ The whole club feels the momentum. From the staff through to the players, it’s impossible not to feel the energy that is being created. Fans, staff and players all feel part of a collective goal. As a life long supporter of the club, I’ve never been this excited. Being part of the journey and working within the club has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Communicating your message to mass audiences isn’t easy. It takes consistency, understanding and knowing what platforms to go to with the different types of content.
