How often have we heard that the corporate world is a relentless race for money, titles, success, and the pursuit of being at the top - where finding someone with a genuine heart seems impossible? Have you ever taken a moment to reflect on what truly matters in your life? Or perhaps you've experienced something that compelled you to reassess your values and your perspective on the world? For me, this year has been a profound journey - I would even say a rollercoaster filled with highs and lows, many of which were far from easy. There were moments when I felt as though I was losing my footing, losing everything I held dear, and, worst of all, feeling completely powerless to change it. You might wonder, what do these challenging situations have to do with the corporate world? For me, quite a lot! I experienced something remarkable, something that defied all stereotypes and common misconceptions! Genuine compassion, unwavering support, and true presence from the people I work with every day to a manager who didn’t hesitate to call me on a Saturday when she learned of my situation, simply to offer her support, to my teammates who have send flowers to my house to show their support and wish me to get well soon! They believed in me and supported me! Their belief in me led to my promotion to Team Leader - a position that I’m both humbled and proud to take on. Karina Gabidullina Victoria Lipskaya and our amazing Warsaw Team - Thank you! Thank you for your support during the difficult times and for your belief in me! This experience taught me a valuable lesson: what truly brings value to a company and makes it a great place to work is not just the goals or the strategies, but the People and the Management. The genuine care, support, and trust they offer can transform even the most challenging environments into a place where we can grow, thrive, and find meaning in what we do. I am deeply grateful. Næh, de starter som regel med mindre forseelser, med lidt-på-grænsen ting, tja-bum og gråzoner. Og de opstår i en kultur, hvor det er muligt. Pointen er ikke at skyde skylden for individers kriminalitet på en hel virksomhed – eller på ”kultur” som en fluffy størrelse. Pointen er snarere omvendt: Dét, en organisation kan gøre for at nedsætte risikoen, det ER bl.a. at arbejde med kultur i relation til lovlig forretningsførelse. For eksempel ved at klæde ledere på til aktivt at have etik på agendaen - også når alt ser fint ud. 💡 Legal Team Performance Tip #1 ✅ Author Benjamin Sachs writes on building high-performance legal teams. He brings up a good point on "ownership". Who should "own a problem"? 💠 There are problems caused by team members 💠 There are problems caused by management 💠 There are problems caused by both team and management Normal Rule: If you break it, you fix it. Sachs states ➡ Most legal team members will not take direct action to steer a solution to problems created by others. 💠 Example Problem: "Ambiguous Deadline" or "Management is not clear enough" 💠 Example Solution: "Give management an extreme range to trigger a clarification 👉 "Are you thinking this will take me closer to 1 hour or 1 week"? I try to increase ownership of problems not belonging to me, while trying not to spread myself too thin. Try scanning your Teams chats or email and see if co-workers are spending too much time on their problem and then determine the level of co-ownership you want for that problem. Two years leading Account Management and 4+ years with the company in total. How would you describe your role at the company in a couple of sentences? I’m responsible for all of ConData’s freight audit clients, as I lead our Account Managers to work directly with them. We ensure prompt reporting and issue resolution with clients while also working to remove barriers to audit and recovery functions internally. What do you find most rewarding in your current role? I enjoy learning about our clients’ work processes and challenges and helping them modernize and improve where possible. Which of ConData’s company values resonate with you the most and why? Integrity resonates with me personally and is critical in our area of expertise. We hold ourselves to a high standard and expect those we work with to do the same as ConData digs into freight payment details. Do you have a favorite quote or motto?
