My eight years working under the leadership of 'A' at the C-suite level were marked by a positive and collaborative work environment. His constructive approach and compassionate demeanor fostered a sense of motivation and team cohesion. In contrast, the subsequent five years under the new leadership were characterized by a decline in morale and productivity. A blanket policy of 50% reduction across all departments created a climate of uncertainty and fear, undermining employee morale and psychological safety. Furthermore, favoritism towards individuals with political connections exacerbated these negative effects, leading to a decline in organizational trust and a hostile work environment. This experience highlighted the critical role of effective leadership in shaping organizational culture and employee well-being.
