If I’ve learned three things from watching this video, it’s these: ✅️ The Compass Ireland talent pool is immense. Seeing so many faces recognised for going above and beyond to keep our clients and customers happy shows just how dedicated our teams are. 👏 ✅️ We invest in the people who make us better. This event wasn’t a one-off; the planning, effort, and resources it takes to execute something of this scale is proof of our absolute commitment to service excellence. 🙌 ✅️ Speaking of excellence, we reward it! We incentivise our teams to be at their best, both for themselves and our customers. By rewarding both nominees and nominators, we’ve created a culture that promotes recognition, where effort, initiative, and hard work don’t go unnoticed. 💪 With that in mind, I encourage you to recognise someone in your network for their outstanding contributions. Send an email, drop a text, or simply tag them in this post. Shine a spotlight on their achievements (and do it today!) ⭐️ Compass Group Ireland #recognition #celebrate #reward

Think Spring! Flowers and blue skies after the gloomy winter months, and finally an opportunity to get out and about. Well, it’s the same for clients and this is the season when global and regional spokespeople hit the road, update on announcements and make their tours of the regions. Hardly surprising that Asia is getting a lot of attention with all the turmoil and distractions in the other markets, and here at Priority Consultants, the past month has seen a large number of major press events. For anyone not familiar with the nuances across Southeast Asia, we shared a few tips on running media events in our region which we hope will be useful; from successfully scheduling around the enormous number of regional holidays and then managing the technical language. Read our Asia in Focus blog for more. https://lnkd.in/gukFV74u Jane Prior , Nolan Ovinis , Sunita Kaur Gill, Cristie H. , Seng Jin Lim #SpringBlooms #BlueSkiesAhead #GlobalSpokespeople #RegionalTours #AsiaFocus #MediaEvents #SoutheastAsiaTips #RegionalHolidays #TechnicalLanguage #AsiaInFocus

[“BEHIND THE PODIUM” PANEL DISCUSSION] Recently, an illuminating Panel Discussion - "Behind the Podium" - was organized by the esteemed RMIT Vietnam Business Club SGS. This workshop offered invaluable perspectives on coordinating impactful events featuring external guest speakers. We had the privilege of learning from two distinguished guest speakers, who are accomplished alumni of RMIT Vietnam Business Club SGS, Mr. Khoi Nguyen and Ms. Huỳnh Ngọc Thanh Ngân. With extensive experience cultivating relationships with high-profile collaborators across various industries, they provided nuanced guidance on optimizing these partnerships to deliver memorable events that meaningfully engage students. Their experienced facilitators guided us through best practices to successfully pitch stakeholders such as: 💡Conducting comprehensive research on a speaker's background to personalize invites; 💡Clearly and promptly communicating event logistics and expectations; 💡Skillfully handling any last-minute changes with flexibility and professionalism; 💡Thoughtfully following up post-event with appreciative feedback. Through their insightful first-hand experiences, roleplaying and case study analyses, we gained practical exposure to real-world principles of effective guest engagement. Core themes emphasized were active listening skills, real scenario experience and representing our esteemed organization with integrity. We look forward to integrating these invaluable lessons at our RMIT Vietnam Business Club SGS forthcoming events. Let’s reflect on this insightful event together! #RMITVietnam #RMITVietnamBusinessClubSGS #BehindThePodium

First thought 💭 as I pulled out of the drive was how our youngest finds the choice between blue and pink cotton candy 🍭 impossibly difficult. It wasn’t worth a photo from the ground, as doing justice to the sky’s beauty and likeness to spun sugar would be impossible. All to say, having a carnival of colors above reset the soul. We can visit warm and sunny places for vacations or work trips, which is the custom of all Northerners of means around here. But there is something universally different about your home 🏠 being bathed in warmth and sunshine☀️. I wanted to participate in the beauty, so I took my morning calls from the airport pilots lounge👨🏼✈️ 🛋️ and snuck up for an hour between appointments in a trainer they had available at Crosswinds Aviation. There’s no better way to spend 8/10ths of an hour, I’ll argue. Reflecting skyward once the eagle had landed, I noted I hadn’t done anything fun by myself in weeks. Maybe a month. It’s like the cold 🥶winds, ice 🧊 and gray clouds ☁️ predetermine the slog. If we let it. And then I found myself productive for the afternoon at a level not seen since the Fall. So maybe you’d think my message is ‘go get yourself some sunshine, fellow CEO…you’ve earned it.’ Not this time. I instead reflected on how most who we employ never have the choice of where or when to work, let alone to sneak away for some solice. The frontline’s schedule doesn’t change with the weather, excepting that bad weather brings one kind of busy and sunshine outside brings a different challenge. And know that they notice when sunny days empty out the c-suite, because assuredly they do. So maybe it’s catering in Jimmy John's for lunch today, or a take home gift to share with their family over the Super Bowl 🏈 this weekend. Certainly a kind word of appreciation is a start…but more is better. Consider it a selfish act if it motivates you, as rewarding those that make it happen works like a high tide…it raises all ships 🚢. #employer #hr #business #leadership #appreciation NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)

Building a culture of continuous improvement in the #hospitality industry requires meticulous planning and proactive steps. EHL Graduate School shares its top tips: 1. Assess Your Current Culture: Start by understanding your organisation's existing culture. Foster open communication and transparency to gather insights from employees at all levels. Utilise a blend of surveys and interviews, ensuring anonymity to encourage candid feedback. 2. Define Your Vision: Pinpoint where your organisation stands regarding continuous improvement. Conduct a thorough analysis to identify gaps between your current and desired culture. Focus on areas like staff retention, cross-team collaboration, and #guest feedback integration. 3. Develop a Plan for Continuous Improvement: Once you've identified strengths and weaknesses, craft a detailed plan for cultural enhancement. Involve every team in setting objectives and timelines, ensuring alignment and accountability. Assign senior managers to oversee each aspect and establish clear review points for progress evaluation. Find out more about how you can maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality industry through sustained growth and innovation. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gvuKuT74 #FarEastHospitality
