July is Minority Mental Health Month, a time to recognize and address the unique challenges faced by people of color in accessing mental health services. Today, we pause and recognize the importance of mental health and are committed to promoting equity and accessibility in mental health care. Here are a few organizations doing great work in this space: - National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to building better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness. They offer advocacy, education, and support services for people of all backgrounds. https://hubs.li/Q01WPShy0 -The Steve Fund - The Steve Fund is focused on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of students of color. They offer a range of resources and programs to help students of color thrive in college and beyond. Learn more at https://hubs.li/Q01WP_ZN0 - The Trevor Project - The Trevor Project is dedicated to promoting the mental health of LGBTQ youth through a multitude of online resources. They offer crisis services, spaces for safe and affirming connection, and educational resources. We encourage everyone to take some time this month to learn more about the unique mental health challenges faced by people of color, and to support organizations working to address these challenges. #MinorityMentalHealthMonth #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthEquity #Equity #SocialImpactTech #TechforGood #BusinessAsAforceForGood #BCorp
