Hello 👋 LinkedIn 🤩 Do you make a habit of greeting people ? I recall a time when I was asked to drop off a package for a shop owner nearby, but when I arrived, the person wasn’t there. Fortunately, there was a woman I always greeted in passing, and when I greeted her that day, she was quick to offer her help. It struck me—had I always ignored her, she might not have been so willing. As the saying goes, "A simple greeting is the seed of goodwill," and "You never know when a small kindness will come full circle." Even if you think you’ll never need their help, it’s wise to remember that "no one is an island." It's a New week full of opportunities, the answer to your question might be in the hand of that person you've been avoiding. Send that message, initiate that call, check on that person. Happy New Week Is this your first time seeing my post ? I’m a Human Resources Management student with a passion for advocating for the hard-of-hearing community and promoting their inclusion in the workplace. #student #humanresorces #inclusion #kindness

Engaging Gen Z in the Jewish community requires adapting to their unique mindset. A recent eJewishPhilanthropy article highlights three key strategies for success: - Embrace Digital and Peer-Led Spaces: Gen Z seeks ownership and authenticity. Providing digital-first, peer-led experiences can enhance the relevance and accessibility of Jewish engagement. - Create Spaces for Dialogue and Social Impact: Aligning programming with social justice and global conversations resonates with Gen Z's values of purpose and impact, fostering more meaningful involvement. - Flexibility is Key: Offering flexible, interest-based experiences over rigid formats increases appeal and retention. Customized approaches cater to individual preferences. Adapting strategies to align with Gen Z's preferences is crucial for fostering meaningful connections within the Jewish community.

Three lessons you could learn from a place where "Everybody knows your name", as I catch up with old friend Brenna Nan Schneider for wings and beers in Boston: 1️⃣ Create a Welcoming Environment 🌟 Cheers is a place where everyone feels at home. 🏠 Whether it’s your workplace, social group, or community, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment helps build strong, lasting relationships. 2️⃣ Celebrate Individuality 🎉 The Cheers gang is a mix of diverse personalities, from Norm’s easygoing nature to Diane’s intellectual charm. Embracing and celebrating each person’s unique qualities enriches the group dynamic and strengthens bonds. 3️⃣ Be There for Each Other 🤗 Through ups and downs, the Cheers family always supports one another. Whether it’s lending an ear or offering a helping hand, being dependable and supportive is key to maintaining close friendships. Cheers to building your own family of friends! 🥂 And looking forward to building more friendships at EMP tomorrow Brian Brault! #FriendshipGoals #Community #Inclusivity #CelebrateDiversity #SupportSystem #CheersTV #LifeLessons

Using Challenges And Experiences To Advocate For The Inclusion Of Persons With Disabilities & To Address The Pain Points Of Customers!
Happy Sunday, everyone! As we prepare for another week of work, I want to take a moment to remind you to know who you are and own it. Do not let anyone box you in or decide whether you are good enough. Many of us find ourselves in situations where others try to limit our talents, causing us to second guess our worth. I spent too many years in this position. I am Terry Clarke, and I stand firm in who I am and what I do. My work in the community is a true testament to the change I seek to bring about. As a special needs advocate, my focus this year has been on fostering inclusion for persons with disabilities and reigniting the spirit of togetherness within the communities. I have the gift of connecting with people and bringing out the best in them. My journey has never been just about me, it is about the selfless impact I have had on the lives of those I encounter. Take a moment today to reflect, not on your achievements, but on what you have given back after those successes. I embarked on a transformative journey with people I believed would be there for the long haul. Initially, good intentions were abundant but as reality set in, I noticed some felt superior, merely because they moved faster. Yet this race was not only for the swift but for those who learn the most along the way. What is the point of starting a journey meant to change your mindset, if at the end, your behaviors remain the same, yielding only mediocre results? So, I leave you with this question: How do you want to be remembered?

Hey everyone, This is my first time posting here, and I’ll be honest - this isn’t really my thing. But in a society where there’s pressure to be active on platforms like LinkedIn to find a job, I felt compelled to break my silence and share something meaningful. Today, I want to dedicate my first post to all the incredible moms out there. As a mom myself, I understand the challenges and the immense value of motherhood. As we celebrate International Women’s Month, let’s shine a light on the often overlooked workforce: moms. Being a mom isn’t just a full-time job; it’s a demanding, multitasking role that requires a diverse skill set comparable to many professional positions. From managing schedules to mediating conflicts, moms excel in communication, organization, and problem-solving. They are CEOs of their households, navigating complex logistics with grace and resilience. Yet, behind the scenes, there’s a whole world of emotions: the love, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication that define motherhood. Despite their invaluable skills, many moms face barriers re-entering the workforce or advancing in their careers. It’s time to recognize not only the professional talents but also the emotional labor that moms invest every day. To all the moms out there: Your skills are invaluable, your contributions are irreplaceable, and your love shapes the world in ways we may never fully realize. You are the heart and soul of our families, and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️ Let’s continue to champion diversity and inclusion in the workplace, ensuring that motherhood is recognized and valued as the asset it truly is. #InternationalWomensMonth #FirstPost #TributeToMoms #MomsRock #Gratitude #EmpowerMoms #RecognizeSkills #HeartofMotherhood

Happy Saturday all. Welcome to our Saturday Neurodiversity Celebration from Jane! 'This week, I feel strongly that a bright light should be shone towards Neurodiversity. As Neurodiversity Celebration Week has an aim of sharing a positive light on the Neurodivergent community and celebrating differences, embracing diversity and understanding the strengths that neurodivergent individuals have, I’d like to share my thoughts on how amazing the neurodivergent community is. Neurodiversity is something to celebrate and accept. And it shouldn’t be just this week, it should be EVERYDAY. In my job as an online neurodivergent business support worker, I have the absolute privilege everyday to work with some amazing neurodivergent individuals of whom I am all so lucky to work with. Seeing the passion and desire they each have for their jobs, businesses and careers everyday is something I thoroughly enjoy. Working with neurodivergent individuals and offering a small level of support as they break boundaries, create positive environments and take their businesses and careers from strength to strength is something I’m so grateful I get to witness everyday. I’d like to thank my colleagues and clients for continuously spreading positivity around neurodivergence and for inspiring me at work everyday. And, as Neurodiversity Celebration Week ends, let’s strive to make everyday a celebration of neurodiversity!' As we observe #RTXInclusionWeek, I’m reminded of the diverse backgrounds that enrich our workplace and the unique challenges faced by many of us. Navigating professional responsibilities can be incredibly difficult for those who are affected by global events that impact their families and communities. Hearing distressing news about areas where our loved ones live can make it challenging to focus on our work commitments. During this time, it's important to acknowledge the silent struggles of our colleagues who may be directly impacted. A simple check-in can make a meaningful difference. We may not be aware of the personal challenges others face, and fostering an environment of empathy and support can benefit us all. As we carry out our work, let’s remember the human stories behind the news and be mindful of the emotional weight that some may carry. Our shared humanity should guide our interactions and remind us of the value of compassion in the workplace. Together, we can cultivate a more supportive environment, recognizing that our professional lives are often connected to personal experiences.

🌟Breaking Labels: My Experience with Extraordinary Kids🌟 Over the past month, I had the incredible opportunity to work closely with children who are often labeled as having "special needs." This experience has been nothing short of transformative. From the outside, society tends to place labels on these amazing kids, often focusing on their challenges rather than their potential. But when you spend time with them, those labels quickly fade away. What emerges is a group of vibrant, unique individuals with boundless energy, creativity, and potential—just like any other kids. Each child I worked with had a unique story, personality, and set of talents. Whether it was through art 🎨 , music 🎶 , sports 🏅 , or simple conversations 💬 , they consistently demonstrated resilience, intelligence, and a zest for life that was truly inspiring. 🔑 Key Takeaways: 🙋♀️ Human First: Labels do not define us. These kids are first and foremost human beings with dreams, strengths, and an incredible capacity for joy. 🤗 Empathy and Patience: Working with these children taught me the importance of empathy and patience. Every small achievement and smile was a powerful reminder of the impact of kindness and understanding. 🧒 Celebrating Differences: Diversity is our strength. Each child's unique perspective enriches our community, teaching us to appreciate the beauty of our differences. This experience has reinforced my belief that when we look beyond the labels, we see the true potential in every individual. It's a lesson I will carry with me in both my personal and professional life. ✨ Let's continue to break down barriers and embrace the incredible potential in every person, regardless of the labels society might impose. Together, we can build a more inclusive and compassionate world. 🤝 #inclusion #diversity #specialneeds #empathy #breakinglabels #childrenareourfuture #community #kindness #understanding #potential #strengthindiversity #humanfirst #celebratedifferences #resilience #creativity #compassion
