An important new study showing the link between livestock grazing and #climateaction. 🐄 46 billion metric tons of #soilcarbon, down to a depth of one meter, have been lost in the last few decades due to grazing. 🐄 20 percent of all pasturelands have crossed the thresholds, leading to severe #carbon losses. 🐄 Under optimal levels, global grazing lands would sequester 63 billion tons of carbon.
