We've been having a great time connecting with our property teams on recent Thankful Tours! This year, we are focused on exploring how we can choose today to show up as our best for our team, for our residents, and even for ourselves. We're having great conversations, sharing proud moments and exploring areas where we can improve and how leadership can support those changes. The feedback from our site teams is invaluable, and we're excited to continue building community!

Guiding individuals and organizations on the adventure of wholehearted leadership. | Executive Coach | Marriage Therapist | Spiritual Advisor
Building intentional community will be what sets leaders apart in the days and decades ahead. Last night was my local fire for men to show up and be seen in a safe environment. I set the expectations and then the next two+ hours men opened up. Two primary questions I gave for the men to process and share as desired. >> What are you grieving? >> What are you desiring? Few men will risk being seen in an authentic environment. Those that do will find refuge. May you find the courage to plug into your local community. May you take a risk and initiate gathering people for deep conversations.

Plenty of folks want to "build a community". I've come to realise that is focusing on the wrong thing, though. No single person 'builds a community'. That goes against the definition of it being about everyone shaping it together. It being about a single person is a cult. We therefore can't 'build a community' as individuals or organisations. But what we can do is create the spark of something to bring it to life. And then we can then hope to help shape its culture by modelling behaviours, highlighting good examples, and articulating values/standards. (This is the magic). Experience therefore tells me great community leaders don't focus on building the community... They focus on building a culture - the community growth bit happens as people bring in one another. Help shape a culture, and let your community fly ✌️✌️

Transforms organizational culture | Ex-Cirque du Soleil | Professional Certified Coach (PCC – ICF) | Certified Team Performance Coach (CTPC)
Don’t just assume that things will get better. WE must be the change we wish to see in this world. It’s all of our responsibilities to intentionally look ahead: like supporting our children with the tools and resources (many of us) never had. 👉🏻 What if we teach our children to regulate their emotions? 👉🏻 What if we show them how to maintain boundaries and find their North Star? 🙏🏻 We’ll give rise to SUCH a healthy generation. We’ll leave this world so much better than we found it. 🌎 ------------------------------------------------------ 🔁 Repost this to the community if you found any value 👉 Follow Geneviève Retzlaff, PCC, CTPC for team management tips and leadership inspiration 👇 Sub to the Grow Better Together newsletter (link in comments)

Empowering female Directors to become successful VPs with my 7-step Passport to Promotion Framework | 10/12 women aiming for the VP role landed it in under 365 days, my about section shows you how to become the next.
I never get tired of what I do. My secret? I've hit the jackpot by finding my true calling in life. Last few weeks, some of the things we talked about inside Sisters in Leadership community were on: → Improving your chances of getting invited to SLT meetings (for C-Suite members only as an SVP → Managing your time when everything feels urgent → Planning your first 90 days to start off with an epic start at a new job → Taking feedback - how to interpret it and how to respond → Proposing a new team structure to leadership that involves you taking a bigger role in leading → How to know when your saboteurs are active and what to do → Dealing with a new manager you aren’t excited about but need to support I'd go back and coach it all over again If I could. Because you know the most awesome part of it all? When these go-getter women have those lightbulb moments and their eyes spark up: ☀️ Ones that change everything and they take off ☀️ Finally start holding themselves a little differently ☀️ Speaking a little differently and shining in a new light ☀️ Or even getting fed up with the status quo and pushing for change. Watching their journeys unfold lifts up the whole community, and keeps me going! I guarantee you, work never feels like work. When it involves guiding others' lives towards better and doing something you can talk about for hours on end. 💛

Forester conservation specialist /Environmentalist and an Agroforester in Management it's Practices.
When a community works together towards a common goal, it becomes stronger and more resilient. Conversely, if each member of the community works in isolation for their own personal gain, the community becomes weak and fragmented. True leadership involves a commitment to the greater good of the community. Always think about the 6C's of community engagements a lot can be changed ,when we are involving the community for any activity "basically restoring the degraded forest areas " it's try using these 6C'S Communication, Collaboration, Consistency, Compassion, Creativity, and Commitment. They collectively help in fostering an engaged and vibrant community.
