Our Food and Beverage team treated our hardworking housekeepers throughout the last day of Housekeeping Week, starting with fresh chilaquiles, cookies, and coffee in the morning. To keep the energy high, our very own Executive Pastry Chef, Nancy Guerrero, led a fun bachata dance session, getting everyone warmed up for the day ahead! Lunch was a delicious feast of tacos, complete with housemade salsa, guacamole, and all the fixings. We wrapped up the week with excitement as we raffled off several fantastic prizes for our team, bringing smiles all around. What an incredible week it's been celebrating our amazing housekeeping team! A huge thank you to our entire team for your dedication and hard work day in and day out. You are the backbone of our hotel, and we are beyond grateful for everything you do to keep Fairmont Century Plaza running smoothly.

As Day 4 of Housekeeping Week at Fairmont Century Plaza comes to a close, we want to shine a spotlight on our incredible overnight team—the unsung heroes who keep our building pristine while the city sleeps. To show our appreciation, we treated them to a delicious meal of pupusas, and of course, a special performance by our resident star, Sarai Jacko, that had the team cheering with joy! Their hard work and dedication behind the scenes truly make a difference, and we are beyond grateful for all that they do!

Day 4 of Housekeeping Week at Fairmont Century Plaza was filled with festivities, laughter, and music! We celebrated our amazing Housekeeping team today with a lively mariachi performance, bringing joy and energy to all our employees. The highlight of the day was a special performance of a Selena classic by our very own Director of Training and Development, Sarai Jacko, which had everyone on their feet, applauding and singing along! It was a day to remember, filled with appreciation for the heart and soul of our hotel. Thank you to our dedicated Housekeeping team for all you do!

Today, we continued to celebrate and show appreciation to our incredible Housekeeping team with the support of our Spa, Security, and Marketing departments! Our Spa Director led a thoughtful intention card reading session, creating a moment of reflection and positivity, followed by special gifts from our Forbes 5-star Fairmont Spa. The day kicked off with our Marketing team bringing donuts and coffee, fueling the morning with gratitude, while our Security Director addressed the team to roaring applause, recognizing thei dedication and hard work that they put in everyday. Thank you to everyone for coming together to make this week so special!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Spa team for being awarded Department of the Year 2023 and maintaining their prestigious Forbes 5-Star rating for both 2023 and 2024! Their dedication to providing exceptional service and unforgettable experiences has set a new standard of luxury at our hotel! To honor their hard work and continued excellence, we hosted an intimate celebratory dinner, where the team was also gifted custom-made candles as a token of appreciation from our Spa leadership team. This gesture symbolizes the warmth and light they bring to every guest’s journey of relaxation and rejuvenation. Here’s to our Spa team’s remarkable achievements and to many more shining moments ahead!

Today, we celebrate the end of slavery in the United States, reminding us of the importance of freedom, resilience and the ongoing pursuit of equality for all. #Juneteenth To commemorate the holiday, we teamed up with Los Angeles Urban League for back to back celebratory brunches featuring live entertainment and a special menu led by our very own Chef Trabion Harris & Chef Kimberly Sanders.
