For brands, a lot of market company value comes from brand equity, intellectual capital and goodwill. Top brands can attract and retain talent, charge more and have more loyal (and vocal) customers. As a strong brand that reflects reputation and stability, it is easier to get a lower-cost loan since the brand poses less risk to the lender.
