While some are sad to say goodbye to summer, Nelson was more than ready to get back on the school bus. 🚌 For children like Nelson, a cancer diagnosis can prevent them from going to school, seeing their friends, or keeping up with their siblings. Our team hears from families who are struggling with costs like food and housing during treatment, and there isn't room for a tutor or a new backpack in the budget. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth

One of Rosa's favorite things to do is travel with her daughter. When she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, trips to vacation spots instead became trips to the hospital. She also had to stop working during treatment, so her savings went to necessities like rent and transportation. 💬 "We really appreciate not only your support, but also the very important work for families in circumstances like these, whose voices are raising up other families who are in need," Rosa shared. 🩵 Thank you to Pfizer for funding life-changing financial support for people and families facing multiple myeloma.

Cancer care requires more than medicine. Everyday non-medical needs like 🚗 transportation to the hospital, 🏠 secure housing, and 🥗 nutritious diets are critical to recovery — yet they're not always included in treatment plans.
