Despite its proven ability to provide optimal nutrients, boost immunity, and reduce infant mortality, many mothers in rural areas lack sufficient knowledge or hold misconceptions about its benefits. This research uncovers key barriers that prevent the widespread adoption of exclusive breastfeeding, highlighting critical gaps in awareness regarding its unparalleled nutritional value during a child’s formative months. For NGOs and health agencies, these insights are crucial for developing targeted interventions aimed at promoting the long-term health benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, such as reducing malnutrition and improving cognitive development. By leveraging this research, organizations can design strategic programs to empower mothers with the knowledge and support needed to maximize the nutritional outcomes for their children, ultimately fostering healthier rural communities.
