At North, apprentices don’t just learn – they thrive. Supported by a dedicated apprentice manager, our structured program combines hands-on trade experience, leadership training, and monthly knowledge-sharing presentations. This year we have two apprentices starting their career. With mentorship from our site and office teams, plus opportunities to set and achieve career goals, North apprentices are shaping their futures in construction. It’s no surprise our apprentices were named National Apprentice of the Year in 2015, 2017, and 2019 and 2024 by the Master Builders Association. Will the proposed withdrawal of the Level 7 levy create a leadership skills vacuum? The Growth and Skills Levy is set to open more doors for young people, which is good news for those entering the workforce.
