"I have a simple request for you all: HURRY UP!" This month is Parkinson's Awareness Month, a time to hear from the people living with Parkinson's disease and remind ourselves why we do the work we do. Parkinson’s disease affects around 10 million worldwide but, despite a tremendous research effort, there are still no known cures. But as Stephen Brannan said above, we must keep going (and quickly!) in the search for novel, better treatments and- hopefully- a cure. As the Chairman of Edinburgh’s branch of Parkinson’s UK and a Person with Parkinson’s disease, we wanted to give Stephen the platform to speak, inspire and motivate every research in the neurodegenerative disease space. Read our interview with Stephen here: https://hubs.la/Q02trj-V0 If you're looking to unlock iPSC technology for Parkinson's Disease research, get in touch with us at operations@axolbio.com #WorldParkinsonsDay #ParkinsonsDisease #BetterHumanDiseaseModels #ipscs
