#DgEnergy director Ditte Juul Jørgensen (European Commission) joined the European Leadership Programme (ELP) cohort last night for an excellent fireside chat moderated by ELP alumnus Volodymyr Vladyka, one of our first Fellow from #Ukraine. It is always striking to see that accomplished leaders of the #EU institutions reflect a lot about #leadership and #purpose! What a thoughtful conversation we had! With such questions as what is the meaning of waking up every day (in the otherwise often rainy) #Brussels and jump into the administrative machine to work for the #European #CommonGood. How to avoid despair? How to have hope and meaning? Madam Jørgensen also mentioned the capacity to listen as one of the most important characteristic of a good #leader, something that we care about a lot in the Programme, as the #Jesuit tradition of #AttentiveListening could not be more important.
