You want to become in the top 1% of B2B Marketers? Just don’t do what the other 99% are doing. I've seen this more times than I can count. B2B companies base their entire marketing activities on a single strategy. → Low-intent lead generation, also known as capturing existing demand. Generate leads at a (relatively) low cost with a CR no higher than 5%. Then try to micro-adjust around the same strategy: - Optimise forms/LPs - Create better creatives - Try new email sequences - Optimise response time - Generate more volume - Lower lead cost Those same companies often bring in new hires, place them inside that box, and expect them to achieve something extraordinary to turn a failing strategy into a global success. It will never work. Instead, be willing to take two steps back, cut out volume, and start building from the beginning. 1. Create attention around your brand 2. Harness that attention to draw opportunities in. 3. Implement a conversion strategy to turn those opportunities into paying customers. There's no way around this if you're struggling with a high CAC.
