Here's an overview of the test: #### Purpose - **Overdose Assessment**: To determine if acetaminophen levels in the blood are toxic, especially in cases of suspected overdose. - **Monitoring Treatment**: To monitor patients receiving acetaminophen for chronic pain management. #### How the Test is Conducted 1. **Blood Sample**: A healthcare professional will take a blood sample, usually from a vein in your arm. 2. **Timing**: The timing of the test is crucial.
