It feels like both two minutes and a lifetime ago since we launched Field Service News. Such is the way of things when you are driven by passion to build and develop something you believe in. This year, we celebrate what an amazing—epic—decade it has been of contributing to the field service sector. We're incredibly proud of our journey so far from very, very humble beginnings to leading some of the industry's most important discussions across the world. But perhaps most important of all, we've made lots of good friends. Including, of course, our new colleagues at Copperberg, whom we have worked alongside in a non-official capacity pretty much since we began this incredible journey. Now, having made that partnership official as FSN becomes part of the Copperberg family, the next chapter of the FSN story continues. So we invite you to join us as we celebrate our 10 incredible years. Let's go down memory lane and reflect on the highlights (and maybe even some lowlights! 🙂) that compose the pages of the FSN history. But most of all, we invite you to stay along with us as we continue to evolve and produce something of value for an industry sector that really plays a critical role in keeping the world turning every single day. Cheers to 10 years and beyond! 🥂 #FSN10 #fieldservice #fieldserviceexcellence #serviceexcellence

We enjoyed the opportunity to participate on a panel at the What’s Up Down South economic summit in southern Utah today! Panel participants included Danny Stewart and Lynne Mayer from our team, alongside Jen Wakeland, who is the director of strategic development director for Beaver County. During the panel we discussed how we synergize with local communities to create a hub for collaboration, innovation, and growth designed to facilitate global connectivity and streamline business operations. We highlighted three project areas of significance for southern Utah: 1) The Mineral Mountain Project area, which will optimize transportation assets, energy and mining resources, and other key factors to develop new primary employment opportunities in Beaver 2) The Iron Springs Project Area, which will serve southwestern Utah with two transloading facilities and the creation of a 725-acre rail-served industrial park for new business development.

Goodbyes are never easy...... My last day with SEMCO ENERGY is on Friday, I will be transitioning to a new role with MISSDIG 811. I have learned so much from this incredible group of people. Here are some of the experiences and skills they have taught me; 1.) No matter what organization you are a part of it all comes down to people. The foundation of trust ensures that you can build to different points of views and engagement. (Mark VanderHeuvel and Greg Stroh). 2.) Transparency and stewarding a healthy company culture is critical in a leader. (Marc Simone). 3.) Focusing on data that identifies trends proactively allow you to be successful in your mission (Also Marc Simone). 4.) Don't allow your teams to suffer in silence. (Greg Stroh and all Operations Managers). We experienced some critical emergencies and SEMCO's operations team is always there, and ready to perform. I will miss all team members, especially those on the Emergency Management, Health and Safety and Security Teams, however having great leaders like Darcy Falkowski and Bryan Elenbaas make it a comfortable transition. My new role officially begins on February 19th, however we are conducting a member townhall on February 15th, hope to see you there. Marc Simone, Mark VanderHeuvel, Philip Lenn, Darcy Falkowski. Bryan Elenbaas.
