It's clear i love motorsport engineering, but every so often i catch insight into a new aspect of it which lights the fire in me again. The freedom and precision in control which modern technology offers us is quite mind blowing to be honest, especially when it comes to performance development. We don't hear much about it because it's all code and computers, but it has certainly changed top level motorsport. As it's still an area of technology development which is open to innovation, it's receiving a lot of focus. Here's an interview i did with Bosch which started me to get researching in this area and write a bigger article on it. More coming soon..!

The new study "Battery Manufacturing 2030: Collaborating at Warp Speed" by VDMA and Porsche Consulting is now publicly available. It shows how European mechanical engineering companies can utilise the opportunity created by the rapidly growing market: Over 200 battery factories are expected to open worldwide in the next 80 months.
