MEET THE TEAM | Marek Tymecki- IR and M&A Manager 👨💼 ↳Marek Tymecki's journey with Sescom Europe began in a unique way back in 2016. His interest in the company wasn’t sparked by a job ad, but rather his personal desire to work for Sescom Europe. At that time, Marek was working at a consulting firm in Tri-City, focusing on investment projects and preparing companies for their debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. However, he soon realized that he preferred to contribute to a single company, rather than being an external contractor. Sescom Europe, with its presence in the stock market and strong local reputation, became his first choice. After persistent follow-ups and four interviews over 1.5 years, Marek finally joined Sescom Europe. ↳Since joining the team, Marek has been part of key moments in the company’s growth. Not only did he assist in Sescom Europe’s transition from NewConnect to the main floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, but he was also heavily involved in the acquisition of DT (now Sescom Forklift) in Olsztyn, PCB Technical Solutions Ltd in the #UK, and in facilitating Enterprise Investors joining the company’s shareholding. His expertise in financial analysis, valuations, and drafting investment agreements has been crucial in these ventures. ↳As the IR and M&A Manager, Marek’s tasks span across Investor Relations, managing Sescom Europe’s communication with shareholders, preparing financial reports, and working closely with various departments like controlling and accounting. He is also involved in M&A activities, assessing financial conditions of potential acquisitions and supporting post-transaction integration, especially in budgeting and financing. ↳Marek finds working with people to be the most rewarding aspect of his job, particularly when teamwork yields tangible results.
